Meet Broxi & Tilly's Friends

This is Troy a 8 month old SBT.

Loves playing tug of war with Broxi and likes to tease her when he manages to get the rope or what ever toy they are playing with. Tilly also gets on great with Troy and they do like to have a good play when Tilly is feeling up for it.

Battersea are doing a great Staffordshire Bull Terrier campaign. Check out their home page devoted to re-homing Staffies.

The home page shows all the Staffies (with photos) that are in need of a loving home. Just hit the registration button or call the re-homing team on 020 7627 9234. Don't be put off by the misconception of the breed as portrayed in the news and the press, who seem to have it in for Staffies at the moment. What the media and the press fail to look at are the owners who have no control over the dog.

My 10 reasons for adopting a Staffordshire Bull Terrier:

1. They are great with children. That's why they are often referred to as the 'Nanny Dog'.

2. They are big hearted and are affectionate with their owners.

3. Loyal.

4. Loveable characters.

5. Reliable, will never leave your side.

6. Steal all the bed and snore.

7. Energetic, but also love their comfort when sleeping.

8. Always have a smile and a Staffie kiss for you.

9. Always make you laugh by doing daft things.

10. Soft natured and intelligent.

As part of their Staffie awareness program they are offering a Staffie Knitting Pattern for a small price to show how soft the Staffordshire Bull terrier can be.

Battersea are also offering free desktop wallpapers with the knitted Staffie design in them. They have 2 wallpapers designs called Staffie in Town and Staffie in Park. Along with the desktop wallpapers they also have a Facebook or Twitter avatar and a Facebook timeline cover as seen at the top of this post.
